It is with great regret that I have to inform you all that I have made the very difficult decision to close the club for the foreseable future.
This has not been an easy decision. The are various reasons for closure but the main reason is due to low number of members and rising costs of training venues it is not financially viable to remain open. I have on quite a regular basis supplimented the training venue costs, this is something I cannot continue to do.
Also Baton Twirling is a competative sport and the lack of interest & commitment towards competitons makes running the club/training sessions quite difficult.
All members will receive letters in the next few days with further information. Should you wish to continue Twirling I can give you details of our nearest club, based in Leeds which Tyla & Saffy will be joining.
I would like to thank you all for your hard work and I have enjoyed working with you over the past year or so.
